In 1998 the Tourist Authority of Thailand officially launched their ‘Amazing Thailand’ promotion. It proved to be a resounding success! When I came to Thailand in 1991, the annual number of visitors was about three million; and in 2019 it was over 40 million I think!

This is just a tiny selection to give you an inkling of what Thailand is like, or, if you have been, to remind you of what you are missing!
